Newfoundland & Labrador Flags

Chosen for its broad symbolism, the flag of Newfoundland and Labrador was introduced in 1980. The blue triangles are a tribute to the Union Jack and the islands British heritage. The two red triangles represent the mainland and island and the gold arrow, the confidence the islanders have in their future.
